6988 - Abu Zur'ah al-Razi narrated to us, saying: Muhammad ibn Sa'id ibn Sabq narrated to us, saying: Amr ibn Abi Qays narrated to us, from Furqat al-Qazzaz, from Ubaydullah ibn Abi Ubad, from Jabir ibn Samurah, who said: I and my father entered upon the Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny), and he prayed with us. When he finished the prayer, the people were gesturing with their hands to the right and left. He saw them and said: What is the matter with you that you are waving your hands as if they are the tails of horses in the sun? When one of you prays and finishes, let him greet (salam) those on his right and those on his left. Then, when they prayed with him again, they did not do that. So we sat with him, and he said: The matter will continue to be apparent until there are twelve leaders or caliphs, all of them from Quraysh.

Then he lowered his voice, and I did not understand what he was saying. I said to my father, "What is he saying?" He replied: "All of them are from Quraysh." Abu 'Awaneh said: Ibn Ash'ath collects his narrations, and this is something that Abu Zakariya al-A'raj chose, and it is a good and sound hadith.

6998 - Muhammad ibn Abd Allah ibn Abd al-Hakam al-Masri narrated to us, saying: Ibn Abi Fadik narrated to us from Muhajir ibn Musmar from Amir ibn Sa'd that he sent to Ibn Sumrah al-Adawi, asking him to narrate what you heard from the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny). He said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) say: "The religion will continue to stand firm until there are twelve caliphs from Quraysh," then deceitful liars will emerge before the Hour, and a group from the Muslims will arise to uncover the treasure of the White Palace, the treasure of Khosrow and the House of Khosrow. When one of you is given a good thing, let him first attend to himself, his family, and his wealth, and I will be your predecessor at the Pond.
