Volume: (3) - Page Number: (179)
2854 - Ibrahim narrated to us, saying: Muhammad ibn Marzouq narrated to us, saying: Hussein ibn al-Hasan al-Ashqar narrated to me, from Ubaydullah ibn Musa, from Abu Ma'da, who was a truthful man, from Ibrahim ibn Abdul-Rahman ibn Subeeh, the freedman of Umm Salama, from his grandfather Subeeh, who said: I was at the door of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny), and Ali, Fatimah, Hasan, and Husayn came and sat down at a distance. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) came out to us and said: "Indeed, you are on goodness, and he is wrapped in a Khaybari cloak," and he covered them with it
and said: "I am at war with those who wage war against you, and at peace with those who are at peace with you." This hadith is not narrated from Subeeh, the freedman of Umm Salama, from the Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) except with this chain of narration, which Hussein al-Ashqar uniquely preserved. Al-Suddi narrated it from Subeeh, from Zayd ibn Arqam.
