Hadith No: 1

It was narrated that Anas bin Malik said:

"I heard the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.a.) say: 'We, the sons of 'Abdul-Muttalib, will be leaders of the people of Paradise: Myself, Hamzah. 'Ali, Ja'far, Hasan, Husain and Mahdi."

4993 - Makram ibn Ahmad al-Qadi narrated to me, saying: Abu Bakr ibn Abi al-Awwam al-Riyahi narrated to us, saying: Sa'id ibn Abd al-Hamid narrated to us, saying: Abdullah ibn Ziyad al-Yamami narrated to me, from Ikrimah ibn Ammar, from Ishaq ibn Abdullah ibn Abi Talhah from Anas ibn Malik (r), that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) said: "We, the children of Abdul Muttalib, are the masters of the people of Paradise: myself, Ali, Ja'far, Hamzah, al-Hasan, al-Husayn, and the Mahdi." This is a sahih (authentic) hadith according to the criteria of Muslim, although they did not include it in their collections.
