- .... Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) said, "If anyone performs a good deed towards one of my family, I will reward him for it on the Day of Resurrection." In another recounting of a narration from someone other than Ali, it was said, "Whoever does a kind deed for one of my family and is unable to repay it in this world, I am the one who will repay him on the Day of Resurrection." This was narrated by Abu Sa'd, and al-Mulla followed up on the first.

2369 - .... The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) said: "Whoever does a good deed for anyone from the descendants of Abd al-Muttalib and is not compensated for it in this world, I will compensate him tomorrow when he meets me." And al-Thalabi mentioned in his Tafseer with a chain that includes some liars from Ali, who raised it (to the Prophet), saying: "Whoever does a favor for anyone from the descendants of Abd al-Muttalib and is not rewarded for it, I will reward him when he meets me on the Day of Resurrection." Al-Ja'abi also narrated it in his Taarikh al-Taalibiyyin in the form: "Whoever does a good deed for anyone from the People of My House, I will compensate him for it on the Day of Judgment." Al-Sakhawi explained this in his Istijlaab Irtikaaq al-Ghuraf.

- Al-Hasan ibn Sufyan narrated to us, saying: Yusuf ibn Musa narrated to us, saying: Isa ibn Abdullah al-Alawi narrated to us, saying: My father narrated to us, from his father, from his grandfather from Ali (ra) who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) said, "Whoever does a kindness to any one of the people of my household, I will reward them for it on the Day of Resurrection."
