Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) said, "If anyone performs a good deed towards one of my family, I will reward him for it on the Day of Resurrection." In another recounting of a narration from someone other than Ali,
it was said, "Whoever does a kind deed for one of my family and is unable to repay it in this world, I am the one who will repay him on the Day of Resurrection." This was narrated by Abu Sa'd, and al-Mulla followed up on the first.
