673 - Hamid narrated to us, saying: al-Nadr ibn Shumayl narrated to us, from Shu'bah, from Sulayman al-Shaybani, from al-Shu'bi, from Muharrir ibn Abi Hurayrah from Abu Hurayrah, who said: "I was among those whom the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) sent with al-Bara'ah to Mecca with Ali." Another time, his son or another man asked him, "What were you proclaiming?" He replied, "We were saying that no one will enter Paradise except a believer, that no polytheist shall perform pilgrimage to the House after this year, that no one may circumambulate the House in a state of nakedness, and that whoever has a covenant with the Messenger of Allah, his term is four months." He said, "So I continued to call out until my voice grew hoarse."
