Hadith No: 1

Narrated Abu Wail:

When `Ali sent `Ammar and Al-Hasan to (the people of) Kufa to urge them to fight, `Ammar addressed them saying, "I know that she (i.e. `Aisha) is the wife of the Prophet (s.a.w.a.) in this world and in the Hereafter (world to come), but Allah has put you to test, whether you will follow Him (i.e. Allah) or her."

Narrated Abu Maryam `Abdullah bin Ziyad Al-Aasadi:

When Talha, AzZubair and `Aisha moved to Basra, `Ali sent `Ammar bin Yasir and Hasan bin `Ali who came to us at Kufa and ascended the pulpit. Al-Hasan bin `Ali was at the top of the pulpit and `Ammar was below Al-Hasan. We all gathered before him. I heard `Ammar saying, "`Aisha has moved to Al-Busra. By Allah! She is the wife of your Prophet in this world and in the Hereafter. But Allah has put you to test whether you obey Him (Allah) or her (`Aisha).

- .... His statement: (Indeed, Aisha has marched to Basra, and by God, she is indeed the wife of your Prophet in this world and the Hereafter. But God has tested you to see whether you will obey Him or her): .... al-Tabari narrated with a sound chain from Abu Yazid al-Madini who said: Ammar ibn Yasir said to Aisha when they had finished with the Camel: "How far this journey is from the command that was entrusted to you," indicating Allah's words, {And stay in your houses and do not display yourselves as in the display of the ignorance of the former time} (Surah al-Ahzab 33:33). Aisha said, "O father of the awake one!" He replied, "Yes." She said, "By God, you do not know that you are speaking the truth." He said, "Praise be to God who has decreed for me to be affirmed on your tongue," and his statement: to see whether you will obey Him or her, some commentators said the pronoun here refers to Ali, and it would be more appropriate to say to see whether you will obey Him or her, instead of to see whether you will obey Him or you.
