697 - Abdullah narrated to us, who said: Muhammad ibn Abi Bakr al-Muqaddimi narrated to me, who said: Fudayl ibn Sulayman, meaning al-Namiri, narrated to us, who said: Muhammad ibn Abi Yahya narrated to us, from Iyās ibn Amr al-Aslami, from Ali ibn Abi Talib (r), who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) said, "There will be difference or matters after me. If you are able to be the one who maintains peace, then do so."

26657 - Hussein ibn Muhammad narrated to us, who said: Al-Fudayl, meaning Ibn Sulayman, narrated to us, who said: Muhammad ibn Abi Yahya narrated to us, from Abu Asma' Mawla Bani Ja'far, from Abu Rafi' that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) said to Ali ibn Abi Talib: "There will be an event between you and Aisha." He said, "Am I, O Messenger of Allah?" He said, "Yes." He said, "I?" He said, "Yes." He said, "Then will I be the most wretched of them, O Messenger of Allah?" He said, "No, but when that happens, return her to her place of safety."

4668 - Abu Bakr Muhammad ibn Abdullah al-Hafid said: Ahmad ibn Nasr narrated to us, Abu Na'im al-Fadl ibn Dukin narrated to us, Abdul Jabbar ibn al-Ward narrated from Ammar al-Dahani from Salim ibn Abi al-Jad from Umm Salama (ra) who said: The Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) mentioned the خروج (exodus) of some of the Mothers of the Believers, and Aisha laughed. He (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) said: "Look, O Humayra, ensure that it is not you." Then he turned to Ali and said: "If you take charge of anything regarding her, be gentle with her."

He said, "No, but when that happens, return her to her place of safety." Ahmad, al-Bazzar, and al-Tabarani narrated this, and their narrators are trustworthy.

- Abu Abdullah al-Hafiz narrated to us, saying: Abu Bakr Muhammad ibn Abdullah al-Junayd narrated to us, saying: Ahmad ibn Nasr narrated to us, saying: Abu Na'im al-Fadl ibn Dukin narrated to us, saying: Abd al-Jabbar ibn al-Ward narrated to us, from Ammar al-Dahhani, from Salim ibn Abi al-J'ad, from Umm Salamah, who said: The Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) mentioned the departure of some of his wives, the Mothers of the Believers, and Aisha laughed. He said: "Look, O Humayra, that you are not the one." Then he turned to Ali and said: "O Ali, if you take charge of anything regarding her, be gentle with her." I said, and Hudhayfah ibn al-Yaman died before her journey, and he had informed us, and also al-Tufayl and Amr ibn Dhalih, about the journey of one of the Mothers of the Believers in a battalion, and none would say this except from hearing.

995 - Zakariya ibn Yahya al-Saji narrated to us, saying: Al-Hasan ibn Qaz'ah narrated to us, saying: Al-Fudayl ibn Sulayman narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn Abi Yahya al-Aslami, from Abu Asma, Maula of Ahl al-Ja'far, from Abu Rafi', who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) said to Ali (peace be upon him): "There will be an issue between you and Aisha (peace be upon her and holy be her contents)." Ali (peace be upon him) replied: "Should I, O Messenger of Allah?" He said: "Yes." Ali (peace be upon him) asked: "Should I do this in front of my companions?" He answered: "Yes." Ali (peace be upon him) then said: "So, will I be the most miserable of them?" The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) replied: "No, but when that happens, take her back to her place of safety."

He said, "O Messenger of Allah, me?" He replied, "Yes." He asked, "Me from among my companions?" The Prophet said, "Yes." He then asked, "So, am I the most miserable of them?" The Prophet replied, "No." Ali said, "Then, when that happens, return her to her place of safety."

5612 - He mentioned what had been narrated to us: Ibn Abi Dawud said, narrated to us: al-Maqdisi said, narrated to us: al-Fudayl ibn Sulayman al-Nu'meri said, narrated to us: Muhammad ibn Abi Yahya from Abu Asma, from Abu Ja'far from Abu Rafi that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) said to Ali: "There will be something between you and Aisha." He said, "Am I, O Messenger of Allah?" He replied, "Yes." He said, "Am I among my companions?" He said, "Yes." He said, "Then I am the most miserable of them, O Messenger of Allah." He said, "No. When that happens, convey to her what she can feel secure about." Thus, Ibn Abi Dawud narrated this hadith to us, stating it in this manner from Abu Asma, from Abu Ja'far, from Abu Rafi.

Ali then asked, "So, am I the one who causes her distress, O Messenger of Allah?" The Prophet said, "No, but when that happens, return her to her place of safety."
