Ayesha laments herself

Hadith No: 1

Narrated Ibn Abu Mulaika:

Ibn `Abbas asked permission to visit Aisha before her death, and at that time she was in a state of agony. She then said. "I am afraid that he will praise me too much." And then it was said to her, "He is the cousin of Allah's Messenger (s.a.w.a.) and one of the prominent Muslims." Then she said, "Allow him to enter." (When he entered) he said, "How are you?" She replied, "I am Alright if I fear (Allah)." Ibn `Abbas said, "Allah willing, you are Alright as you are the wife of Allah's Messenger (s.a.w.a.) and he did not marry any virgin except you and proof of your innocence was revealed from the Heaven." Later on Ibn Az-Zubair entered after him and `Aisha said to him, "Ibn `Abbas came to me and praised me greatly, but I wish that I was a thing forgotten and out of sight."

2492 - Muawiya ibn Amr narrated to us, who said: Zaidah narrated to us, who said: Abdullah ibn Kuthaym narrated to us, who said: Abdullah ibn Abi Mulaika narrated to me that he was told by Dhakwan, the doorkeeper of Aisha: Abdullah ibn Abbas came to seek permission to enter upon Aisha, and I came upon her with her nephew Abdullah ibn Abdul Rahman at her head. I said: This is Ibn Abbas seeking permission. Her nephew Abdullah leaned over her and said: This is Abdullah ibn Abbas seeking permission while she is dying. She said: Leave me from Ibn Abbas. He said: O mother, Ibn Abbas is one of your righteous sons, he wishes to greet you and bid you farewell. She said: Grant him permission if you wish. He said: So he admitted him, and when he sat down, he said: Rejoice. She said: Another one. He said: Nothing stands between you and meeting Muhammad (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) and the loved ones except the departure of the soul from the body. You were the most beloved of the women of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny), and the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) did not love except those who were pure. Your necklace fell the night of Al-Oba, and the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) remained until morning searching for it. In the morning, the people found no water with them, so Allah, the Mighty and Exalted, revealed, "So perform tayammum with clean dust," and this was in your regard. And Allah, the Mighty and Exalted, did not reveal any concessions to this ummah except that it was in relation to you. Allah also revealed your innocence from above seven heavens, brought by the trustworthy Spirit, and there was not a mosque of Allah on earth where Allah was remembered except that it would be recited in it day and night. She said: Leave me be, O Ibn Abbas, by the One in whose hand is my soul, I wish I had been forgotten, unremembered.

And by Allah, I did not love for anything to be violated regarding Uthman except that a similar violation had occurred to me, so that if I had wanted to kill him, I would have killed him. And Aisha would say: "O Ubaydullah ibn Udayy, let not anyone deceive you after what you know. By Allah, I did not despise the actions of the companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) until those who criticized Uthman began to appear, saying things that were not fitting to be said, reading in a way that should not be read, and praying in a manner that should not be prayed." So when I reflected on the situation, I swear by Allah, their actions did not come close to the deeds of the companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny). And if you are pleased with the words of a person, say: {And say, 'Work, for Allah will see your work and [so will] His Messenger and the believers' } (Surah At-Tawbah 9:105), and let no one make you feel insignificant.
