6787 - Ali ibn Isa narrated to me, saying: Ibrahim ibn Abi Talib narrated to us, saying: Ibn Abi Umar narrated to us, saying: Sufyan narrated to us, from Abu Sa'd ibn al-Marzbani, from Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Aswad, from his father, who said: Aisha said, "The Messenger of Allah (p) did not marry me until Gabriel came to him with my image and said, 'This is your wife; marry her.'" And I was a girl with the impression of a boy. So when he married me, Allah cast bashfulness upon me while I was still young. This is a hadith with a chain of narration that is authentic, although they did not include it in their collections. Sufyan said: Al-Zuhri said that the impression of a boy refers to marks that will be in the middle of the body.

4822 - Muhammad ibn Ibad al-Makki narrated to us, saying: Sufyan narrated to us from Abu Sa'd from Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Aswad from his father, who said: Aisha said, "The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) did not marry me until Gabriel came to him with my image and said, 'This is your wife.'" And he married me when I was a girl playing on a swing, and when he married me, Allah instilled bashfulness in me.

And Musa ibn Harun narrated to us, saying: Khalaf ibn Hisham al-Bazzar narrated to us, saying: Abu Shahab narrated to us. Both of them from Ismail ibn Abi Khalid, from Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi al-Dhahhak, from Abd al-Rahman ibn Muhammad ibn Zayd ibn Jud'an, from Aisha who said: "There were unique things in seven that no one among women had, except for what Allah granted Maryam (Mary) daughter of Imran. And I swear by Allah, I do not say this as a boast over any of my companions." Abdullah ibn Safwan said to her: "And what are they, O Mother of the Believers?" She replied: "The angel appeared to me in my true form," and the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) married me for seven years, and I was given to him in marriage as a gift after nine years....
