No blessings of Allah for Yazid

Hadith No: 1
Al-Tabarani - al-Mu'jam al-Kabir - Chapter on the Letter Ha - Al-Husayn ibn Ali ibn Abi Talib (ra)
Volume: (3) - Page Number: (120)
2861 - Al-Hasan ibn al-Abbas al-Razi narrated to us, saying: Sulaim ibn Mansur ibn Ammar narrated to us, from my father, and Ahmad ibn Yahya ibn Khalid ibn Hiyan al-Ruqy narrated to us, saying: Amr ibn Bukayr ibn Bakkar al-Qa'nabi narrated to us, from Mujashir ibn Amr, both said: Abdullah ibn Lahi'ah narrated to us, from Abu Qubayl, who said: Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-As narrated to me that Mu'adh ibn Jabal informed him, saying: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) came out to us with a changed color and said: "I am Muhammad, who has been given the beginnings and the ends of speech. So obey me as long as I am among you. When I am taken away, you must adhere to the Book of Allah, the Mighty and Majestic. Allow what it has permitted and prohibit what it has prohibited. The Spirit and Peace will come to you, a Book from Allah, which had been foretold. You will encounter trials like bits of dark night; whenever one group departs, another will come. Prophethood will be succeeded and will become kingship. May Allah have mercy on whoever takes it with its due respect and leaves it as they entered it." He turned to Mu'adh and said: "Count and be precise." When he reached five, he said: "Yazid, may Allah not bless Yazid." Then his eyes (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) teared up, and he said: "Husayn has been made known to me, and I have been shown his soil and informed of his killer. By the One in whose hand is my life, he will not be killed among a people who do not defend him except that Allah will cause a rift between their hearts and their minds, and He will unleash upon them the worst of them, dress them in factions." Then he said: "Woe to the offspring of the people of Muhammad (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) from a luxurious, appointed successor who will kill in my presence and the presence of my successors." Hold on, O Mu'adh. When he reached ten, Al-Walid said: "The name of Pharaoh is the destroyer of the laws of Islam before him, a man from the Ahl al-Bayt who will unsheathe Allah's sword, and there will be no sheathing for it." People will differ, and they will be like this, intertwining their fingers. Then he said: "After one hundred and twenty, there will be a swift death and a terrible killing; in it will be their ruin, and there will be a man from the progeny of Abbas ruling over them."

56 - Al-Hasan ibn al-Abbas al-Razi narrated to us, saying: Sulaim ibn Mansur ibn Ammar narrated to us, from my father, and Ahmad ibn Yahya ibn Khalid ibn Hibban al-Raqi narrated to us, saying: Amr ibn Bakir ibn Bakkar al-Qan'abi narrated to us, from Mujashij ibn Amr, who both said: Ibn Luheiya narrated to us, from Abu Qubil, who told me that Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-As informed him that Mu'adh ibn Jabal told him, said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) came out to us with a changed color and said: I am Muhammad, entrusted with the beginnings and endings of speech, so obey me as long as I am among you. And when I am taken away, you must hold onto the Book of Allah. Make lawful what it has made lawful and declare unlawful what it has made unlawful. The angel of death will come to you, coming with spirit and comfort, a decree from Allah that has been established. You will be faced with trials like the dark pieces of night; whenever an envoy departs, another will come. Prophethood will be passed down, becoming kingship. May Allah have mercy on the one who takes it with its due right and leaves it as they entered it. Hold firm, O Mu'adh, and count. He said: When it reached five Yazid said, "May Allah not bless Yazid," then his eyes shed tears and he said: A notification of Hussein is given to me, and I am shown his soil and informed of his killer. By the One in whose hand is my soul, he will not be killed among a people who do not defend him, except that Allah will cause hostility to be between their hearts and minds and will unleash the worst of them upon them, and dress them in factions. Then he said: Woe to the fledglings of the family of Muhammad from a successor, appointed and living in luxury, who will be killed behind me and behind those who come after. Hold firm, O Mu'adh. When it reached ten, he said: Al-Walid is the name of Pharaoh, a demolisher of the laws of Islam, before him a man from his family who will not sheath his sword or return it. People will differ, and they will be like this - and he interlaced his fingers - then he said: After twenty and one hundred, there will be a swift death and a grievous killing, and in it will be their destruction. A man from the offspring of Abbas will rule over them, and their wording will be the same.

31061 - Narrated to us by: Muhammad, the Prophet, who said: "I was given the beginnings and endings of words, so obey me as long as I am among you. When I am taken from you, you must rely on the Book of Allah. Make lawful its lawful things and make unlawful its unlawful things." The death will come to you, coming with it peace and ease, a decree from Allah that has preceded. You will face trials like pieces of dark night; whenever one group of messengers goes, another will come. Prophethood will continue to pass down, becoming kingship. May Allah have mercy on the one who takes it justly and exits from it as they entered it." He said, "Hold on, O Mu'adh," and he emphasized this. Then he said, when it reached five he said: "Yazid, may Allah not bless Yazid," news of Hussein was brought to me, and I was given his soil and informed of his killer. By the One in whose hand is my soul, he will not be killed among a people who do not protect him, except that Allah will cause discord between their hearts and minds, and He will unleash the worst of them upon them, dressing them in factions. Woe to the offspring of the family of Muhammad from a luxurious, well-established ruler who will kill in my presence and the presence of my successors. Hold on, O Mu'adh." He said, "Then, when it reached ten, he said: 'Al-Walid is the name of Pharaoh, the destroyer of the laws of Islam. A man from my family will bear the burden of his blood. Ask Allah for His sword, and it will have no sheath.'" And the people will differ, becoming like this - and he intertwined his fingers - then he said, "After twenty-one, there will be a swift death and a terrible killing. In it will be their destruction, and over them will rule a man from the Banu Abbas."

34324 - Yazid, may Allah not bless Yazid, the invoker and the one who curses! Indeed, it has been narrated to me by my beloved that my beloved Hussein has been martyred. I was brought his soil and saw his murderer. Indeed, he will not be killed among a people until they do not support him, except that Allah will humiliate them with punishment.

- .... And Ibn Asakir narrated in his History from Abdullah ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him and his father) who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) said, "Yazid, may Allah not bless Yazid, the one who instigates and curses." He continued, "Indeed, it is a consolation to me about my beloved Hussein. I was shown his grave and saw his killer. Truly, he will not be killed among a people and they will not support him except that Allah will punish them with torment."

15120 - Mu'adh ibn Jabal narrated that he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) came out to us with a changed complexion and said: "I am Muhammad, granted the beginnings and endings of speech. So obey me as long as I am among you. When I am taken from you, then you must hold on to the Book of Allah. Make lawful what it has made lawful and prohibit what it has prohibited. The death that comes to you will come with spirit and comfort, a decree from Allah that has been predetermined. You will face trials like the pieces of dark night; whenever one group departs, another will come. Prophethood will be passed down until it becomes kingship. May Allah have mercy on the one who takes it with its due rights and leaves it as he entered it." He then said to Mu'adh, "Count and be precise." He continued: When he reached five, he said: 'Yazid, may Allah not bless Yazid.' Then his eyes (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) filled with tears, and he said, "Husayn has been mourned for, and I have been shown his soil and informed of his killer. By the One in whose hand is my soul, they will not kill him among a people who do not defend him except that Allah will cause enmity to arise between their hearts and minds, and He will unleash the worst of them upon them and dress them in factions." He added, "Woe to the offspring of the family of Muhammad from a successor who will be an indulgent heir, killing in my presence and the presence of my successors." He told Mu'adh, "Hold on." When he reached ten, he said: "Walid is the name of Pharaoh, a destroyer of the laws of Islam, with a man from his own family before him, striking with the sword of Allah, and there will be no sheathing for it." They will conflict, and they will be like this," and he interlaced his fingers. Then he said, "After the ten, there will be swift death in one hundred and one, a destruction in which their annihilation lies. Over them will rule a man from the descendants of al-Abbas." This was narrated by al-Tabarani, and in it is Mujashi' ibn Amr, who is a liar.

- Muhammad ibn Nasir narrated to us, saying: Al-Mubarak ibn Abd al-Jabbar narrated to us, saying: Abu al-Fath Abd al-Malik ibn Umar ibn Khalaf al-Razzaz narrated to us, saying: Abu al-Husayn ibn Bashran narrated to us, saying: Al-Qadi Abu al-Husayn Umar ibn Ali ibn Malik al-Ashnani narrated to us, saying: Husayn ibn al-Kumayt narrated to us, saying: Sulaym ibn Mansur ibn Ammar narrated to us, from my father, who said: Ibn Lahi'a narrated to us, from Hayyiy, from Abu Abd al-Rahman al-Habli, from Abdullah ibn Amr, who said: We were at the gate of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny), I, Abu Ubayda, Salman, al-Miqdad, and al-Zubayr, when the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) came out to us, frightened and with a changed color. He said: "I have been informed of my own fate," and he mentioned a long speech, then said: "Hold on and count, and breathe the breaths of the fortunate." Then he said about Yazid: "May Allah not bless Yazid the invoker of curses, the curser." He continued: "Indeed, it has been reported to my beloved that I will be brought a grave of clay resembling Hussein, and I will be shown his killer. Indeed, he will not be killed openly among a people nor supported, except that Allah will overwhelm them with punishment or, he said, with torment." This is undoubtedly a fabricated narration, and by my life, Ibn Lahi'a is known to be weak in hadith, as is Sulaym ibn Mansur, but this is from the work of al-Ashnani. Al-Daraqutni said: "Al-Ashnani used to lie."
