6484 - Ibn Numayr narrated to us, saying: Uthman ibn Hakim narrated to us, from Abu Umamah ibn Sahl ibn Hunayf, from Abdullah ibn Amr, who said: "We were sitting with the Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) when Amr ibn al-As went to put on his clothes to catch up with me. He said, 'And while we were with him, he will surely let in a man who is accursed.' By Allah, I remained anxious, watching for someone to enter or leave, until so-and-so entered," referring to al-Hakam.

431 - Abdullah ibn Amr said: "We were sitting with the Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny), and Amr ibn al-As had gone to put on his clothes to catch up with me." He said, while we were with him: "A cursed man will surely enter upon you. By Allah, I remained anxious and on the lookout, both outside and inside, until so-and-so entered," meaning al-Hakam. Ahmad narrated this, and its narrators are the narrators of Sahih.

And I had left my father at home, so I feared that he might be him." Then another man appeared, and the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) said: "It is this one." Al-Tabarani reported it in al-Kabir, and its narrators are men of authenticity, except that there is one man in it whose name is not mentioned.

He said, while we were with him: "A cursed man will surely come in among you. By Allah, I remained anxious, watching both outside and inside, until so-and-so entered," meaning al-Hakam. Ahmad and al-Bazzar narrated it, but he said: "al-Hakam ibn Abi al-As" entered, and al-Tabarani narrated it in al-Awsat, and the men in Ahmad's narration are trustworthy.

9234 - And from Jubair ibn Mut'aim who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) said: "While I was sitting with the Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) in the Hijr, al-Hakam ibn Abi al-As ibn al-Uyeyr passed by, and the Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) said: 'Woe to my Ummah from what is in the loins of this one.'" This was narrated by al-Tabarani in al-Awsat, and in it are those I do not recognize.

9235 - And from Abdullah al-Buhi, Mawla of al-Zubair, who said: I was in the mosque while Marwan was delivering a sermon, and Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Bakr said: "By Allah, I do not require an oath from any of his family." Then Marwan replied: "You are the one mentioned in the verse: {And the one who said to his parents, 'Uff to you! Do you promise me?' (Surah Al-Ahqaf 46:17)} And Abd al-Rahman said: 'You lie! But the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) cursed your father.'" Al-Bazzar narrated it, and its chain is Hasan.

2352 - Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Yahya ibn Sa'id narrated to us, saying: Abdullah ibn Numayr narrated to us, saying: Uthman ibn Hakim narrated to us, from Abu Umamah ibn Sahl ibn Hanif from Abdullah ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: I was with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny), and while we were with him, he said: "A cursed man will soon enter upon you." I had left Amr ibn al-As dressing in his clothes to catch up with me, and I kept looking and feeling apprehensive until Al-Hakam ibn Abi al-As entered. And we do not know of this hadith being narrated in this wording except from Abdullah ibn Amr with this chain of narration.

3167 - Muhammad ibn Abdullah al-Hadrami narrated to us, saying: Dhurar ibn Sard narrated to us, from Aaidh ibn Habib, from Isma'il ibn Abi Khalid, from Abdullah al-Madani from Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Bakr, who said: al-Hakim ibn Abi al-Aas used to sit near the Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny), and whenever the Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) spoke, he would first twitch. The Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) noticed this and said: "You are like that." He continued to twitch until he died.

While we were with him, he said: 'A cursed man will surely enter upon you.' By Allah, I remained anxious and eagerly watching, both inside and outside, until such-and-such entered,' meaning al-Hakam."
- Abu al-Qasim Zaher ibn Tahir narrated to us, saying: Abu Sa'id Muhammad ibn Ali al-Khashab narrated to me, saying: Abu Muhammad al-Mukhalladi narrated to me, saying: Musa ibn al-Abbas al-Juwayni narrated to us, from Abu Hatim, meaning al-Razi, from Dhurar ibn Surad, Abu Nu'aim, who narrated to me, saying: A'id ibn Jubayr narrated to us, from Isma'il ibn Abi Khalid from Abdullah al-Madani, who said: "I heard Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Bakr say: 'Al-Hakam ibn Abi al-As used to sit with the Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny), and whenever the Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) spoke of something, he would say, 'This is how it is,' wrinkling his face. The Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) said to him, 'You are like this.' He said: 'He kept twitching until he died.'"

- And from Abu al-Husayn ibn al-Abnusi, who said: Abu Bakr ibn Bayri read to me, saying: Muhammad ibn al-Husayn narrated to us, saying: Ibn Abi Khaythuma narrated to us, saying: Abd al-Rahman ibn Salih al-Azdiyi narrated to us, saying: Amr ibn Hashim al-Hasani narrated to us from Isma'il ibn Abi Khalid from Amir, who said: "I heard Abdullah ibn al-Zubair while leaning his back against the Kaaba, saying: 'By the Lord of this sacred house, al-Hakam ibn Abi al-As and his children are cursed by the tongue of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny).'"
