Al-Bayhaqi said from the Malainis, from Abu Ahmad ibn Adi, from Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili: 'Uthman ibn Abi Shaybah narrated to us, Muhammad ibn al-Hasan al-Asadi narrated to us, Sharik narrated to us from Abu Ishaq, from Abdullah ibn al-Zubair, who said that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "The Hour will not be established until thirty liars arise, among them are Musaylima, Al-Ansi, and Al-Mukhtar, and the worst tribes of Arabs will be the Banu Umayya, the Banu Hanifa, and Thaqif." Ibn Adi said: "Muhammad ibn al-Hasan has some unique narrations, and trustworthy ones have narrated from him, and I do not see any harm in his narrating."

2825 - Abu Sa'd Ahmad ibn Muhammad al-Malaini narrated to us, saying: Abu Ahmad ibn Adi al-Hafiz narrated to us, saying: my father Ya'la al-Mawsili narrated to us, saying: Uthman ibn Abi Shaybah narrated to us, saying: Muhammad ibn al-Hasan al-Asadi narrated to us, from Sharik, from Abu Ishaq, from Abdullah ibn al-Zubayr, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) said, "The Hour will not be established until thirty liars emerge, among them are Musaylima, al-Anlisi, and al-Mukhtar, and the worst tribes of the Arabs will be the Banu Umayyah, the Banu Hanifah, and Thaqif." Abu Ahmad said: "I do not know of anyone who narrated this from Sharik except Muhammad ibn al-Hasan al-Asadi, and he has other unique reports. Trustworthy people narrated from him, and I did not see any harm in his narration." I say: "And there are sound witnesses for his narration in relation to al-Mukhtar ibn Abi Ubaid al-Thaqifi."

639 - Muḥammad ibn al-Ḥasan ibn al-Tall Kh. S. Q. al-Asadī al-Kūfī. Abu Ḥātim said: A shaykh. And ʿAbbās narrated from Yahyā that he was nothing. Abu Dāwūd said: He is trustworthy; his hadiths may be written. Al-Fasawī stated: He is weak. Dhahabī mentioned that he had a hadith from ʿAbdullāh ibn al-Zubayr, which said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) said, "The Hour will not come until thirty liars emerge, among them Musaylama, al-ʿAnsi, and al-Mukhtār, and the worst tribes of Arabs will be the Banu Umayyah, the Banu Ḥunāifah, and the Banu Thaqīf." Dhahabī noted that his statement from 'among them Musaylama' might be from the words of the narrator, meaning ibn al-Tall. Ibn ʿAdī said: Trustworthy individuals narrated from him, and I did not find anything wrong with his hadiths...

And the worst tribes of the Arabs will be the Banu Umayyah and Banu Hanifah and Thaqif.
