Al-Bukhari - al-Tarikh al-Kabir - al-Muhammadun - 759: Muhammad ibn Muslimah Abu Hisham al-Mkhzumi al-Madini

759 - Muhammad ibn Muslimah Abu Hisham al-Mkhzumi al-Madini said to me: Abd al-Rahman ibn Shaybah narrated to us: Muhammad ibn Muslimah al-Madini heard from Malik, from Nafi, from Ibn Umar: The Prophet (peace be upon him) forbade al-qaz'ah (a specific haircut style). And it was said to Muhammad ibn Muslimah: What about the opinion of so-and-so (1) who entered all the lands except Medina? He said, "He is a deceiver (dajjjal) from among the deceivers." And the Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Neither plague nor the Dajjjal (deceiver) will enter it."
Footnote: (1) - In the margin of Ko: In another manuscript, it is stated (What about the opinion of Abu Hanifah?) Thus he said.

Al-Bukhari - al-Tarikh al-Kabir - Chapter on the letter Noun - 2253: Nu'man ibn Thabit Abu Hanifa al-Kufi

2253 - Nu'man ibn Thabit Abu Hanifa al-Kufi was a client (mawla) of Banu Taym Allah ibn Thalabah. He was narrated from by Ubad ibn al-Awwam, Ibn al-Mubarak, Hisham, Waki', Muslim ibn Khalid, Abu Mu'awiya, and al-Maqri: he was an Murji'ah (one who postpones judgment) and they (the narrators) remained silent about him regarding his opinion and his hadith. Abu Na'im said that Abu Hanifa died in the year 150 AH.

1941 - Nu'man ibn Hammad narrated to us, who said: al-Fazari narrated to us and said: I was with Sufyan when he mourned al-Nu'man, saying: "Praise be to Allah! He was demolishing Islam, a pillar that nothing born in Islam was more ominous than."

388 - Al-Na'man ibn Thabit, Abu Hanifa al-Kufi, died in the year 150 AH. Na'im ibn Hammad narrated to us, saying: Yahya ibn Sa'id and Mu'adh ibn Mu'adh both said, "We heard Al-Thawri say: Abu Hanifa was reinstated from disbelief twice."
- Na'im narrated to us, saying: Al-Fazari narrated to me, "I was with Al-Thawri when the news of Abu Hanifa's death was announced. He said, 'Praise be to Allah,' and prostrated, saying, 'He would have undermined Islam, pillar by pillar.'"
- And he meant, Al-Thawri said, "No one was born in Islam more ill-omened than him."

- A friend of ours narrated to us from Hamdwayh, who said: I said to Muhammad ibn Muslima, "Why did Al-Na'man’s view not enter all the towns except for Medina?" He replied, "Indeed, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) said, 'The false messiah (Dajjal) and plague will not enter it,' and he is a false messiah of the false messiahs.'"
