2805 - Muhammad ibn Salih ibn Hani narrated to me, saying: Ibrahim ibn Abi Talib narrated to us, and Abu Ali al-Hafiz narrated to us, saying: Ali ibn al-Abbas al-Bajjali informed us, both saying: Muhammad ibn Bashar narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us, from Shubay'ah, who said: I heard Abu Ishaq narrating
from Amir ibn Sa'd, who said: "I was with Thabit ibn Wadi'ah and Qarzah ibn Kab (may Allah be pleased with him) at a wedding feast, and I heard a sound. I said, 'Do you not hear?' They both replied, 'It is permitted to have vocal music at a wedding and to weep for the deceased, without lamentation.'" This is a soundHadith according to the standards of the two Shaykhs, and they did not include it in their collections. Sharik ibn Abd Allah narrated it from Abu Ishaq with an explanation in summary.
