- .... Al-Bazzar, al-Tabarani, al-Hakim, and al-Bayhaqi narrated with a chain that the sheikh deemed good
from Abdullah ibn al-Zubair, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) was cupping (hijama), and he gave me the blood, saying: 'Go and hide it.' So I went and drank it, then came to the Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny), and he said to me: 'What did you do?' I replied, 'I hid it.' He said, 'Perhaps you drank it.' I said, 'I drank it.' - .... Al-Daraqutni narrated in al-Sunan
from Asma bint Abi Bakr, who said: The Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) was cupping and handed his blood to my son, who drank it. Then Gabriel came to him and informed him. He said, 'What did you do?' He replied, 'I disliked pouring out your blood.' The Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) said, 'The Fire will not touch you,' and he wiped over his head, saying, 'Woe to the people from you, and woe to you from the people.'
- .... Al-Bazzar, Abu Ya'la, Ibn Abi Khuzaima, and al-Bayhaqi in al-Sunan, as well as al-Tabarani,
narrated from Safina, who said: The Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) was cupping and then said: 'Take this blood and bury it from the animals, birds, and people.' So I went and drank it, then came back and he said: 'What did you do?' I informed him, and he laughed. Ibn Adi narrated it from the route of Shuraih ibn Yunus, who said: Ibn Abi Fadik narrated to us, saying: Barriya ibn Umar ibn Safina narrated to me from his father, from his grandfather, with the wording: 'Take this blood and bury it from the animals, birds, or he said people and animals,' unsure which it was, Ibn Abi Fadik.
