And the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) fell into a pit among the pits that Abu Amir had dug to trap the Muslims, and Ali ibn Abi Talib (peace be upon him) took his hand and Talhah ibn Ubaydullah lifted him until he was standing and Malik ibn Sinan, the father of Abu Sa'id, wiped the blood from the face of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) with his cloth and then swallowed it. He said: "Whoever touches my blood touches my blood will not be touched by the Fire."

6446 - Abd al-Rahman ibn Hamdan al-Jallab related to us in Hamdan, who said: Abu Hatim al-Razi narrated to us, saying: Muhammad ibn Isa ibn al-Tabba' narrated to us, saying: Musa ibn Muhammad ibn Ali al-Hajibiy narrated to us, from his mother, who was one of the children of Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, from Umm Abd al-Rahman, the daughter of Abu Sa'id, from her father, Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (ra), who said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) was wounded on his face on the Day of Uhud, and my father, Malik ibn Sinan, intercepted him and licked the blood from his face with his mouth, then swallowed it." Then the Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) said, "Whoever wishes to see one who has mixed with my blood, let him look at Malik ibn Sinan."

6454 - Abu Umar and Uthman ibn Ahmad ibn al-Sammak narrated to us in Baghdad: Abd al-Karim ibn al-Haytham al-Deir 'Aqouli narrated to us: Muhammad ibn Isa ibn al-Tabba' narrated to us: Musa ibn Muhammad ibn al-Hujjabi narrated to me: my mother, who was from the descendants of Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, told me that she heard Umm Abd al-Rahman ibn Abu Sa'id al-Khudri narrating from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: "On the day of Uhud, the Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) was struck on the forehead, and Malik ibn Sinan, the father of Abu Sa'id, came to him. He wiped the blood from the Prophet's (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) face and then swallowed it." The Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) said: "Whoever would like to see one who mixed his blood with mine should look at Malik ibn Sinan." Abu al-Abbas Muhammad ibn Ya'qub narrated to us: Abu Ja'far Ahmad ibn Abd al-Hamid al-Harithiy narrated to us: Abu Usamah narrated to me: Yazid ibn Abdullah narrated to me, and they both had recorded it.

Then the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) said: "Whoever wishes to see one who mingled his blood with mine, let him look at Malak ibn Sinan." Narrated by al-Tabarani.

- His statement: (And Hamid and Thabit said from Anas: The Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) was injured on the day of Uhud, and he said: How will a people succeed who have wounded their Prophet? Then the verse was revealed: You have no say in the matter…) .... Ibn Hisham mentioned in the narration of Abu Sa'id al-Khudri that Utbah ibn Abi Waqqas was the one who broke the Prophet's (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) lower incisor and injured his lower lip, and that Abdullah ibn Shihab al-Zuhri was the one who struck him on the forehead, and Abdullah ibn Qumay'ah wounded him in his cheek, causing two rings from his helmet to become embedded in his cheek and that Malik ibn Sinan sucked the blood from the face of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) and then swallowed it, saying: Fire will not touch you.

7651 - Malik ibn Sinan ibn Ubayd ibn Thalabah al-Ansari al-Khudri, the father of Abu Sa'id. His lineage has been mentioned in the biography of his son Abu Sa'id Sa'd ibn Malik. He witnessed the Battle of Uhud and was martyred there. Ibn Abi Asim and al-Baghawi narrated from the path of Musa ibn Muhammad ibn Ali al-Ansari who said: My mother, Umm Sa'd bint Mas'ud ibn Hamzah ibn Abu Sa'id, told me that she heard Umm Abd al-Rahman, daughter of Abu Sa'id, narrating from her father, who said: The face of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) was wounded, and Malik ibn Sinan confronted him, absorbing the blood from his face and then swallowing it. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever wants to see someone who mingled with my blood, let him look at Malik ibn Sinan."

2097 - narrated to us: Salat ibn Mas'ud, who said: Musa ibn Muhammad ibn Ali told me that my mother, Umm Sa'id bint Mas'ud ibn Hamza ibn Abi Sa'id al-Khudri, who is Sa'd ibn Malik ibn Sinan (r), said that she heard Umm Abd al-Rahman, the daughter of Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, narrate from her father that he said: The face of the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.a.) was injured on the Day of Uhud, and Malik ibn Sinan went to meet him, wiping the blood from the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.a.) and then swallowing it. Then the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.a.) said: "Whoever wishes to see one who has mixed his blood with mine should look at Malik ibn Sinan."

5430 - Abdullah ibn Ahmad ibn Hanbal narrated to us, saying: Al-Salt ibn Mas'ud al-Juhdari narrated to me, saying: Musa ibn Muhammad ibn Ali narrated to us, saying: My mother, Umm Sa'id, daughter of Mas'ud ibn Hamza ibn Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, who was Sa'd ibn Malik ibn Sinan, informed me that she heard Umm Abdul Rahman, daughter of Abu Sa'id, narrating from her father that he said: The face of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) was injured on the Day of Uhud, and Malik ibn Sinan confronted him and sucked the wound of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny). Whoever wishes to see someone who mingled his blood with mine should look at Malik ibn Sinan.

9098 - Mas'ada ibn Sa'd narrated to us, saying: Ibrahim ibn al-Mundhir narrated to us, saying: Abbas ibn Abi Shumla narrated to us, from Musa ibn Yaqoub, from Ibn al-Asq'a' from Rabih ibn Abdul Rahman ibn Abi Sa'id, from his father, from his grandfather, that his father, Malik ibn Sinan, when the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) was injured in the face on the day of Uhud, sucked the blood of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) and swallowed it. It was said to him, "Will you drink the blood?" He replied, "Yes, I will drink the blood of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny)." Then the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) said, "My blood will mix with his blood; he will not be touched by the Fire." This hadith was not narrated from Abi except with this chain of transmission, and Ibrahim ibn al-Mundhir was unique in it.

And many hadiths have been reported: that a group drank the blood of the Prophet, peace be upon him and his holy progeny, including Abu Taybah the cupped one, a boy from Quraysh who cupped the Prophet, peace be upon him and his holy progeny, and Abdullah ibn al-Zubair, who also drank the blood of the Prophet, peace be upon him and his holy progeny. This was narrated by al-Bazzar, al-Tabarani, al-Hakim, al-Bayhaqi, and Abu Na'im in (al-Hilya), and it is reported that Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) drank the blood of the Prophet, peace be upon him and his holy progeny.

Ibn Hisham mentioned in the narration of Abi Sa'id al-Khudri that Uthbah ibn Abi Waqqas was the one who broke the lower incisor of the Prophet (peace be upon him and holy progeny), injuring his lower lip, and that Abdullah ibn Shahab al-Zuhri was the one who struck him on the forehead, and Abdullah ibn Qumma was the one who wounded him on the cheek, so two rings from the helmet's visor went into his cheek and that Malik ibn Sinan sucked the blood from his cheek (peace be upon him and holy progeny) and then swallowed it. The Prophet (peace be upon him and holy progeny) said, "Whoever harms my blood, his blood will not be affected by fire."

And in the Sirah of Ibn Hisham regarding the Battle of Uhud, it is mentioned: And Rabeeh ibn Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Sa'id al-Khudri narrated from his father, from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, that Utbah ibn Abi Waqqas threw a stone at the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) that day, breaking his lower right incisor and injuring his lower lip, and that Abdullah ibn Shahab al-Zuhri struck him on the forehead, and that Ibn Qum'ah wounded his cheek, causing two rings of his helmet to become embedded in it. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) fell into a pit among the trenches that Abu Amir had dug to ensnare the Muslims, and Ali ibn Abi Talib took the hand of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) and raised him, while Talhah ibn Ubaydullah helped him stand until he was upright. And Abu Ubayd al-Malik ibn Sanan, the father of Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, wiped the blood from the face of the Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) and then swallowed it. Then the Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) said: "Whoever touches my blood, his blood shall not be affected by the Fire."

- Abu Bakr Muhammad ibn Abd al-Baqi narrated to us, saying: al-Hasan ibn Ali narrated to me, saying: Abu Umar ibn Hayyuwiya narrated to me, saying: Abd al-Wahhab ibn Abi Hayya narrated to me, saying: Muhammad ibn Shuja' narrated to me, saying: Muhammad ibn Umar al-Waqidi narrated to me that Abu Sa'id al-Khudri used to report that on the day of Uhud, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) was struck in the face, and two links of his helmet were driven into his cheek. When they were removed, blood flowed from his face as if it were pouring from a flask. Then my father, Malik ibn Sinan, began to scoop the blood with his mouth and swallow it. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) said: "Whoever wishes to see one who mingled his blood with mine, let him look at Malik ibn Sinan." It was said to Malik: "Are you drinking the blood?" He replied: "Yes, I am drinking the blood of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny)." Then the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) said: "Whoever's blood has mixed with mine will not be touched by the Fire."
