It has been narrated on the authority of Ibn Salama. He heard the tradition from his father who said:

We arrived at Hudaibiya with the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.a.) and we were fourteen hundred in number. There were fifty goats for them which could not be watered (by the small quantity of water in the local well). So, the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.a.) sat on the brink of the well. Either he prayed or spat into the well The water welled up. We drank and watered (the beasts as well)....

1611 - Qutaybah ibn Sa'id narrated to us, Hatem ibn Isma'il narrated to us, from Bukayr ibn Mismar, from Amir ibn Sa'd, from his father, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) say to him and behind him in one of his campaigns, and Ali (peace be upon him) said: "Are you going to leave me with the women and children?" He said, "O Ali, would you not be pleased to be to me as Harun (Aaron) was to Musa (Moses), except that there is no prophethood after me?" And I heard him say on the day of Khaybar, "I will surely give the banner to a man who loves Allah and His Messenger, and Allah and His Messenger love him." So we all strained to be chosen for it He said: "Bring me Ali," and he was brought to him, with his eyes inflamed. The Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) spat in his eye and gave him the banner, and Allah opened (the fort) for him. And when this verse was revealed: {Call our sons and your sons} (Al-Imran 3:61), the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) called Ali, Fatimah, Hasan, and Husayn, and said: "O Allah, these are my family."

So the people spent the night discussing among themselves which of them would be given it. When morning came, the people went out to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny), all hoping to be given it. He said: "Where is Ali ibn Abi Talib?" 10876 - And from Malik ibn Hamzah ibn Abi Usayd, from his father, from his grandfather, Abu Usayd al-Sa'idi al-Khazraji, who had a well in Medina called Bir Bida'a, in which the Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) had spat, and it is being rejoiced in and considered blessed. He said: When Abu Usayd began to harvest the dates from his garden, he placed them in a room. Then a ghoul (ghul) would oppose him and go to his drinking place and steal his dates, ruining them for him. He complained about this to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny), who said: That is the ghoul, O Abu Usayd. Listen for her, and when you hear her jumping in, say: In the name of Allah, respond to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny). The ghoul said: O Abu Usayd, excuse me from being obliged to go to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) and give you an oath from Allah that I will not oppose you to your home nor steal your dates, and I will guide you to a verse to recite in your home that will prevent me from opposing you to your family, and you can recite it over your vessels, and we will not uncover their covers. He gave her the oath that he was satisfied with. Then she said, the verse I will guide you to is the Ayat al-Kursi (Verse of the Throne). Then she twitched her tail and farted, and he went to the Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) and narrated the story to him as she had departed. The Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) said: She spoke the truth, and she is deceitful. This was narrated by al-Tabarani, and its narrators were all trustworthy, although there is some weakness in some of them.

The pure types are their saliva, tears, sweat, mucus, and nasal discharge for it was reported from the Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) that on the Day of Hudaybiyyah, he did not sneeze but that his phlegm fell into the hand of one of the men, and he used it to wipe his face. 175 - 3: .... I will tomorrow give this banner to a man whom Allah will open (victories) through his hands. He loves Allah and His Messenger, and Allah and His Messenger love him. So, the people spent that night wondering which of them would be given it. When morning came, the people went out to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) all hoping to be given it. He said: "Where is Ali ibn Abi Talib?" They said: "O Messenger of Allah, he is complaining of his eyes." He said: "Send for him." So he was brought. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) then spat in his eyes and prayed for him, and he was healed, as if he had never had any pain.*

Gabriel will open the way for him on his right, and Michael on his left." That night, all the Muslims stayed awake, eagerly anticipating this.
