Taking blessings from Prophet (s.a.w.a.)'s cloth

Hadith No: 1

Abdullah. the freed slave of Asma' (the daughter of Abu Bakr). the maternal uncle of the son of 'Ata, reported:

Asma' sent me to 'Abdullah b. 'Umar saying: The news has reached me that you prohibit the use of three things: the striped robe. saddle cloth made of red silk. and the fasting in the holy month of Rajab. 'Abdullah said to me: So far as what you say about fasting in the month of Rajab, how about one who observes continuous fasting? -and so far as what you say about the striped garment, I heard Umar b. Khatab say that he had heard from Allah's Messenger (s.a.w.a.): He who wears silk garment has no share for him (in the Hereafter), and I am afraid it may not be that striped garment; and so far as the red saddle clotb is concerned that is the saddle cloth of Abdullah and it is red. I went back to Asma' and informed her. whereupon she said: Here is the cloak of Allah's Messenger (s.a.w.a.). and she brought out to me that cloak made of Persian cloth with a hem of brocade, and its sleeves bordered with brocade and said: This wall Allah's Messenger's cloak with 'A'isha until she died, and when she died. I got possession of it. The Apostle of Allah (s) used to wear that, and we waslied it for the sick and sought cure thereby.

11588 - Fatimah bint Asad ibn Hashim ibn Abd Manaf al-Hashimiyyah, the mother of Ali and his brothers. It is said that she died before the Hijrah, but the correct view is that she migrated and died in Medina, a conclusion affirmed by al-Sha'bi, who said: "She embraced Islam, migrated, and died in Medina." Ibn Abi Asim narrated through the chain of Abdullah ibn Muhammad ibn Umar ibn Ali ibn Abi Talib from his father that the Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) buried Fatimah bint Asad in his cloak and said: "We did not find anyone after Abu Talib who was more dutiful to me than her."

We are washing it for the sick to seek healing with it." Ahmad and Muslim reported this, but did not mention the wording of a handspan.

He replied: I dressed her in my shirt so she could wear from the garments of Paradise and lay with her in her grave to lighten her from the pressure of the grave., she was the one who treated me with the best kindness after Abu Talib. He replied, "As for what you mentioned about fasting Rajab, what about one who fasts endlessly? And regarding knowledge displayed on a garment, Umar ibn al-Khattab informed me that he heard the Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) say, 'Whoever wears silk in this world will not wear it in the Hereafter,' so I fear that knowledge in a garment might be like wearing silk. As for the silk-trimmed garment, this is a garment of Ibn Umar, and I hope you will see it." I said, "Yes." He replied, "Then I returned to Asma and informed her of what Abdullah ibn Umar said, and she brought out to me a cloak from her collection, made of a fine, silken fabric with a trim of Khosrowi brocade, and its sleeves were both lined with it, and she said, 'This is the cloak of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny). He would wear it, and when the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) passed away, it remained with Aisha. When she passed away, I took it.' Al-Nufayli and al-Saghani added, 'I took it to myself and we wash it for our sick when they are unwell and seek healing with it.'

And the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) would honor and respect her, calling her: My mother. She entrusted her will to him when death was approaching her, and he accepted her will and prayed over her. He then descended into her grave and lay beside her in it after dressing her in his shirt, so his companions said to him: We have not seen you do with anyone what you did with her.
