Hadith No: 1

Narrated Anas bin Malik:

saw Allah's Messenger (s.a.w.a.) when the `Asr prayer was due and the people searched for water to perform ablution but they could not find it. Later on (a pot full of) water for ablution was brought to Allah's Apostle . He put his hand in that pot and ordered the people to perform ablution from it. I saw the water springing out from underneath his fingers till all of them performed the ablution (it was one of the miracles of the Prophet).

Narrated Abu Juhaifa:

Allah's Messenger (s.a.w.a.) came to us at noon and water for ablution was brought to him. After he had performed ablution, the remaining water was taken by the people and they started smearing their bodies with it (as a blessed thing). The Prophet (s.a.w.a.) offered two rak`at of the Zuhr prayer and then two rak`at of the `Asr prayer while a short spear (or stick) was there (as a Sutra) in front of him.

11939 - He said: I read to Abd al-Rahman Malik from Ishaq ibn Abdullah ibn Abi Talhah from Anas ibn Malik, who said: I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) when the time for the Asr prayer was approaching, and the people were seeking water for ablution but could not find any. So, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) was brought some water for his ablution, and the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) placed his hand in that container and instructed the people to perform ablution from it. I saw water flowing from beneath his fingers, and the people performed ablution until they were all able to do so, even to the last of them.

Yahya related to me from Malik from Ishaq ibn Abdullah ibn Abi Talha that Anas ibn Malik said, "I saw the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, on one occasion when the asr prayer was at hand . Everyone was looking for water for wudu but no- one could find any. Then the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, brought some water in a vessel . He put his hand into the vessel and then he told them all to do wudu from it." Anas added, "I saw water coming out from his fingers. Then all of them to the last man did wudu."

It was narrated that Talq bin 'Ali said:

"We went out as a delegation to the Prophet (s.a.w.a.); we gave him our oath of allegiance and prayed with him. We told him that in our land there was a church that belonged to us. We asked him to give us the leftovers of his purification (Wudu' water). So he called for water, performed Wudu' and rinsed out his mouth, then he poured it into a vessel and said to us: 'Leave, and when you return to your land, demolish your church, and sprinkle this water on that place, and take it as a Masjid.' We said: 'Our land is far away and it is very hot; the water is far away and it is very hot; the water will dry up.' He said: 'Add more water to it, for that will only make it better.' So we left and when we came to our land we demolished our church, then we sprinkled the water on that place and took it as a Masjid, and we called the Adhan in it. The monk was a man from Tayy', and when he heard the Adhan, he said: 'It is a true call.' Then he headed toward one of the hills and we never saw him again."

2 - .... And Anas ibn Malik said: I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) when the time for the afternoon prayer (Asr) was approaching, and the people were seeking to perform ablution (wudu) but could not find any water. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) was brought a container of water for ablution, and the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) placed his hand in that container and instructed the people to perform ablution from it. I saw water flowing from beneath his fingers until they were able to perform ablution, right down to the last of them. This is agreed upon by both sources, and a similar meaning is agreed upon from the hadith of Jabir ibn Abdullah.
