Tawassul and seeking help with the Prophet (sawa) on the Day of Judgment

Hadith No: 1

Narrated `Abdullah bin `Umar:

The Prophet (s.a.w.a.) said, "A man keeps on asking others for something till he comes on the Day of Resurrection without any piece of flesh on his face." The Prophet (s.a.w.a.) added, "On the Day of Resurrection, the Sun will come near (to, the people) to such an extent that the sweat will reach up to the middle of the ears, so, when all the people are in that state, they will ask Adam for help, and then Moses, and then Muhammad (p.b.u.h) ." The sub-narrator added "Muhammad will intercede with Allah to judge amongst the people. He will proceed on till he will hold the ring of the door (of Paradise) and then Allah will exalt him to Maqam Mahmud (the privilege of intercession, etc.). And all the people of the gathering will send their praises to Allah.

1022 - As Harun ibn Kamil narrated to us, he said: Abdullah ibn Salih narrated to us, he said: Al-Layth ibn Sa'd narrated to me, he said: Ubaydullah ibn Abi Ja'far narrated to me, and I heard Hamzah ibn Abdullah say: I heard Abdullah ibn Umar say: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) said: "A man will continue to ask people until he comes on the Day of Resurrection with not a morsel of flesh on his face." And he also said: "The sun will draw near until the sweat reaches half the ear." While they are in this state, they will seek help from Adam (peace be upon him), who will say: "I am not the one for that," then from Musa (peace be upon him), who will say the same, and then from Muhammad (peace be upon him and his holy progeny), who will intercede to settle the matters among the creation and will walk until he takes hold of the gate of Paradise. Then, on that day, Allah will raise him to a praised station, which all the people of the gatherings will praise." Abu Ja'far said: "And this was something Allah, the Almighty, specially bestowed upon him, besides that."

- .... And he said: "On the Day of Resurrection, the sun will draw close until the sweat reaches halfway up the ear." While they are in this condition, they will seek refuge with Adam, who will say, 'I am not the one for that,' then with Moses, who will respond similarly, and then with Muhammad (peace be upon him) who will intercede. He will then judge between the creation and walk until he takes hold of the gate of Paradise, and on that day, Allah will raise him to a Praised Station, which all the inhabitants of the gathering will commend."

Chapter on the Mention of the Evidence that the Intercession We Described as the First of the Intercessions
is the one by which the Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) intercedes to let Allah judge between His creation. At that time, Allah 'Azza wa-Jall will command him
to admit from his Ummah those who have no accountability into Paradise from the right gate.
Thus, he will be the first of the people to enter Paradise from among the believers.
