- .... Abu Mukhnif reported from Abu Janab al-Kalbi: that when Ali learned what Amr had done, he was cursing in his qunut (supplicatory prayer) Muawiya, and Amr ibn al-As, and Abu al-Awfar al-Sulami, Habib ibn Muslimah, al-Duhaq ibn Qais, Abd al-Rahman ibn Khalid ibn al-Walid, and Walid ibn Utbah.

7050 - Hisham narrated to us, he said: Husayn informed us, he said: Abd al-Rahman ibn Muqil narrated to us, and said: I prayed the dawn prayer with Ali. He then stood in qunoot and in his supplication, he said: "O Allah, deal with Muawiyah and his followers, Amr ibn al-As and his followers, Abu al-Sulami and his followers, and Abdullah ibn Qais and his followers."

21989 - Narrated from Abd al-Rahman ibn Maqal who said: I prayed the Fajr prayer with Ali, and he performed qunut. In his qunut, he said: "O Allah, deal with Muawiya and his followers, and Amr ibn al-As and his followers, and Abi al-Awfar al-Sulami and his followers, and Abdullah ibn Qays and his followers."
