6484 - Ibn Numayr narrated to us, saying: Uthman ibn Hakim narrated to us, from Abu Umamah ibn Sahel ibn Hanif, from Abdullah ibn Amr, who said: "We were sitting with the Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny), and Amr ibn al-As had gone to put on his clothes to catch up with me. He said, 'And we were with him (the Prophet) when he mentioned, "A man with a cursed demeanor is about to enter upon you." By Allah, I continued to feel anxious, watching for someone to enter and then leave, until such-and-such entered,' referring to al-Hakam."

432 - And from him, it is narrated that he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) said, "A man will surely come out to you who will be resurrected on the Day of Judgment in a manner other than my Sunnah or my religion." I had left my father at home and feared that he might be the one, so another man appeared instead, and the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) said, 'This is he.'" This was narrated by al-Tabarani in al-Kabir, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih, except that there is one man in it whose name is not mentioned.

9233 - Abdullah ibn Amr said: We were sitting with the Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) when Amr ibn al-As went off to put on his clothes to catch up with me. He said: And while we were with him, a cursed man will surely enter upon you, and by Allah, I remained anxious, looking both outward and inward, until so-and-so entered, meaning al-Hakam. Ahmad and al-Bazzar narrated this, except that he said: until al-Hakam ibn Abi al-As entered. Al-Tabarani narrated it in al-Awsat, and the men in Ahmad's narration are reliable.

2352 - Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Yahya ibn Sa'id narrated to us, saying: Abdullah ibn Numayr narrated to us, saying: Uthman ibn Hakim narrated to us, from Abu Umamah ibn Sahel ibn Hanif from Abdullah ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: "I was with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny), and while we were with him, he said: 'A cursed man will soon enter upon you.' I had left Amr ibn al-As dressing in his clothes to catch up with me, and I kept looking and worrying until al-Hakam ibn Abi al-As entered." And we do not know of this hadith being narrated in this wording except from Abdullah ibn Amr with this chain of narration.

300 - Ja'far ibn Ahmad ibn Sinan narrated to us, saying: Muhammad ibn Ubayd al-Muharibi narrated to us, saying: Abu Malik al-Janbi narrated to us, from Isma'il ibn Abi Khalid, from al-Sha'bi from Abdullah ibn al-Zubayr, who said while he was on the pulpit: "By the Lord of this Sacred House and this Sacred City, indeed, al-Hakam ibn Abi al-Aas and his sons are cursed upon the tongue of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny)."

- Abu al-Qasim ibn al-Husayn narrated to us, saying: Abu Ali ibn al-Madhhab narrated to me verbally, saying: Abu Bakr ibn Malik narrated to us, from Abdullah ibn Ahmad, who said: My father narrated to me, from Ibn Numayr, from Uthman ibn Hakim, from Abu Umamah ibn Sahl ibn Hunayf from Abdullah ibn Amr, who said: "We were sitting with the Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) when Amr ibn al-As went to put on his clothes to shave my head. He said, 'And while we were with him, a man will come in, cursed.' By Allah, I remained anxious, looking out both inside and outside until so-and-so entered," meaning al-Hakam.
- And from Abu al-Husayn ibn al-Abnusi, who said: Abu Bakr ibn Bayri narrated to me as a reading, both saying: Muhammad ibn al-Husayn narrated to us, from Ibn Abi Khuwaythamah, from Abd al-Rahman ibn Salih al-Azdiy, from Amr ibn Hashim al-Hasani, from Isma'il ibn Abi Khalid, from Amir, who said: "I heard Abdullah ibn al-Zubair, with his back propped against the Kaaba, saying: 'By the Lord of this Sacred House, indeed, al-Hakam ibn Abi al-As and his sons are cursed on the tongue of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny).' "
