11765 - It was narrated from Ibrahim ibn Yazid, as Abu Abdullah al-Hafiz informed us: Abu Sa'id Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Waki' narrated to me, saying: Ibrahim ibn Nasr al-Dhubi narrated to us, saying: Salih ibn Musammar narrated to us, saying: Hisham ibn Sulayman narrated to me, from Ibrahim ibn Yazid, from Amr ibn Dinar, from Ja'far ibn Muhammad ibn Ali, from his father, from his grandfather, from Ali, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) said: "Go out and announce to the people from Allah, not from His Messenger: 'May Allah curse anyone who cuts off the sidra.'" Thus, our Sheikh mentioned it in Gharā'ib al-Shuyukh.

19757 - Abdul Razzaq said: I heard Al-Muthanna narrating from Amr ibn Dinar, from Muhammad ibn Ali Abu Ja'far, who said: The Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) said to Ali in the illness in which he died: "Go out, O Ali, and speak on behalf of Allah, not on behalf of the Messenger of Allah: 'May Allah curse those who cut the sidr.'"
