19916 - Abu al-Nadr and Afan narrated to us, saying: Al-Mubarak narrated to us, from al-Hasan, from Abu Bakrah, who said. Afan said in his narration: Al-Mubarak narrated to us, saying: I heard al-Hasan say: Abu Bakrah informed me, saying: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) passed by a group of people handling a drawn sword, and he said: "May Allah curse those who do this." Have I not forbidden you from this?" Then he said: "If one of you draws his sword and looks at it, intending to hand it to his brother, he should sheathe it first, then hand it to him."

7856 - Abu al-Abbas Muhammad ibn Ya'qub narrated to us, saying: Al-Rabi' ibn Sulayman narrated to us, saying: Al-Khusayb ibn Nasih narrated to us, saying: Al-Mubarak ibn Fadlalah narrated from al-Hasan from Abu Bakrah (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) passed by a group of people handling an unsheathed sword, and the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) said: "Allah's curse be upon those who do this." And has it not been forbidden? If one of you unsheathes a sword and looks at it, and wants to hand it to his brother, let him sheath it first and then hand it to him." This is a hadith with a sound chain of narration, and they did not include it in their collections.
