23950 - Abd al-Samad and Afan narrated to us, saying: Hammad narrated to us, and Afan said: The meaning was conveyed to us from Ali ibn Zayd, from Sa'id, from Aisha: that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) was among a group of migrants and helpers when a camel came and prostrated to him. His companions said, "O Messenger of Allah, even animals and trees prostrate to you, and we are more entitled to prostrate to you." He replied, "Worship your Lord and honor your brother. If I were to command anyone to prostrate to another, I would command a woman to prostrate to her husband. And if he were to command her to move from a yellow mountain to a black mountain, or from a black mountain to a white mountain, she would be expected to do so."

- .... And from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him): The Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) entered a garden, and a camel came and prostrated to him, and he mentioned something similar.
- .... And the same concerning a she-camel from Tha'laba ibn Malik, Jabir ibn Abdullah, Ya'li ibn Murra, and Abdullah ibn Ja'far, who said: No one would enter the garden except the she-camel would become agitated with him. But when the Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) entered, he called it, and it lowered its head to the ground and left some space in front of it, then it nuzzled. And he said: "There is nothing between heaven and earth that does not know I am the Messenger of Allah, except for the disobedient of jinn and humans."
- .... And the same from Abdullah ibn Abi Aufa, and in another report in the hadith of the she-camel: that the Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) asked them about its situation, and they informed him that they intended to sacrifice it. And in another narration: that the Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) said to them: 'It complained of the burden of work and the scarcity of fodder.' And in another version: that it complained to him that you intended to sacrifice it after having used it in demanding work since it was small. They said: Yes.

Regarding What صالح (peace be upon him) Was Given
Volume: (9) - Page Number: (327/328)
[The text is lengthy, so only the relevant excerpt is provided here]
- .... Regarding what صالح (peace be upon him) was given: Abu Na'im said: If it is said, Allah brought forth a she-camel from the rock for صالح, making it a sign and proof for his people, and appointed for it a day to drink and for them a known day to drink, we say: Allah gave Muhammad (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) something similar, even greater, because the she-camel of صالح did not speak to him or bear witness to his prophethood and mission whereas Muhammad (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) was attested to by the crying camel of stone, which bore witness to his mission and complained to him about what it was enduring from his people, that they were starving it and mistreating it. Then he continued the narration in this manner, as we have presented earlier in Dalail al-Nubuwwah, with its chains and wording, and attributed it in a way that makes it unnecessary to repeat it here, and it is found in the sahih, hasan, and musnad collections.

1073 - Al-Firyabi informed us, saying: Ibrahim ibn al-Hajjaj al-Sami narrated to us, saying: Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, from Ali ibn Zayd, from Sa'id ibn al-Musayyib from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her and restore her honor): that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) was with a group of muhajirin and ansar when a camel came and prostrated to him. His companions said, "O Messenger of Allah, animals and trees have prostrated to you, so we are more deserving to prostrate to you." He said, "Worship your Lord and honor your brother, for it is not proper for anyone to prostrate to another. Even if I were to command anyone to prostrate to another, I would command a woman to prostrate to her husband. And if a man were to command his wife to move from a black mountain to a red mountain, and from a red mountain to a black mountain, it would be her duty to do so."
