Zab: Al-zab: your fullness of the waterskin to its top [you say: I filled it, and it was filled to overflowing, and al-zabab is light: a type of large rat]. Al-zayb is well-known, and a single zayb is referred to as al-zayb, and the act of producing zayb is called al-tazayb, and al-zayba is a sore that appears on the hand [called: al-‘arfa] (14), and al-zabba is the noun for al-uzb, which means an abundance of hair on the arms, eyebrows, and eyes, and the collective term is al-zub. An al-uzb camel has a lot of wool. Al-zab: the beard in the language of Yemen, as in the verse:
"And the tears of the two cuppings overflowed * onto the beard, even the beard submerged in water" (15)
And al-zubb of a boy is well-known, and it refers to his male organ in the language of the people of Yemen (16). Tazayb in speech means to exaggerate, and Abu Zaban (17) is a nickname.

- .... and "al-zab" (الزب) refers to the male in the language of the people of Yemen. Ibn Durayd specifically distinguished it as a male human being and said: it is a correct Arabic term. He recited:
"I swear by God I will not love him, whether his testicles are long or his 'zab' is short."
The plural forms are "azb" (أزب), "azbab" (أزباب), and "zubabah" (زببة). And "al-zab" (الزب) means a beard in Yemeni dialect, and some people from Yemen also say it refers to the front of the beard. The poet said:
"And the tears of the two drenched ones overflowed with a sobbing onto the 'zab' until the 'zab' was submerged in the water."
He also noted: Shumur said that "al-zab" (الزب) could refer to the nose in the language of the people of Yemen, and "al-zab" (الزب) can mean a fill of your waterskin to its top. It is said: "I filled it (زبيت) and it became full (ازدبت)."

- .... And about Abi Layla who said: We were with the Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) when al-Hasan approached, rolling on the ground, and he lifted him from his shirt and kissed his raisin. This is because he touched an organ of him, which did not nullify the wudu like other organs, and our scholars used the hadith of Basra as evidence, which is authentic, as we have previously explained.
