1662 - Sahl ibn Abi Sahl al-Wasiti said: Umar ibn Salih ibn Ziyad narrated to us, Abdullah ibn Ja'far narrated to us from Hashim ibn Hashim, from Ubaydullah ibn Abdullah ibn Zum'ah, from Umm Salamah (peace be upon her), who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) did not allow anyone to enter upon him when he was asleep except for Hasan and Husayn (peace be upon them). She said: One day, he slept in my house, and I sat at the door to prevent anyone from entering. Then Husayn came running, and I let him go, and he went until he fell on his belly. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) was startled and wept as he embraced him. I said, "O Messenger of Allah, why do you weep when you are sleeping and you are happy?" He said, "Jibril (peace be upon him) came to me with this soil." Umm Salamah continued: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) opened his palm, and there was red soil in it, and he informed me that my son would be killed in this soil. She said, "I said, and what is this land?" He replied, "This is Karbala." I said, "A land of grief and trials."
