- .... And al-Bukhari said, Muhammad ibn al-Muthanna said: Mu'adh ibn Mu'adh narrated to us,
who said: Hariz ibn Uthman, Abu Uthman, narrated to us, and I do not know that I have seen anyone from the people of al-Sham better than him.- .... Al-Bukhari said:
And Abu al-Yaman said: Hariz used to take from a man and then abandoned him, meaning Ali (r).- .... Abu Ahmad ibn Adi said: Ibn Abi Ismah narrated to us,
who said: Ahmad ibn Abi Yahya narrated to us, saying: I heard Ahmad ibn Hanbal say: "The hadith of Hariz is about three hundred, and they are correct in narration, except that he shows bias against Ali."
